The class of 2020 has worked hard for 12+ years and deserves a somewhat normal graduation. Under the circumstances a traditional ceremony isn’t possible. That said, I believe an in person graduation is still possible if we have a stage on our football field to distribute diplomas safely. If we limit the amount of people to 1 student, 1 teacher, and 2 cars with 4 people max (to watch) we could still have an in person graduation. In Anaheim, California a 900+ student graduation was made possible. Students waited their turn to graduate at designated times and still got to have a special experience despite, COVID-19 cancelling many of their passions and events they held close to their hearts. I ask you to sign this petition so your voice is heard. Your voice matters and if it’s possible to have a safe but, in person graduation you best believe I’m going to work hard to make a difference for our graduating class :)! Your hard work deserves to be rewarded and celebrated. This global pandemic has taken away so much from everyone but, it doesn’t need to take away everything.
