Recently, serious allegations have been made against former Lusher School teacher Blake Bailey: https://www.nola.com/news/education/article_405327ca-a2b8-11eb-8721-7f160d5afea3.html These allegations range from speaking in highly inappropriate ways to students to the rape of a former student. This petition requests that Lusher Charter School engage in a full and thorough investigation of Blake Bailey's actions while he was a teacher and after he was a teacher when those actions were related to former students. It also requests that Lusher Charter School make changes to their charter to try to prevent this kind of behavior in the future - including whistleblower protection and trainings for all teachers and students on how to identify and report inappropriate behavior.
