In California you are required to have a business license in order to buy any car from auction. One example is the website Copart, you need a business license in order to purchase any car from the auction. In other states this is not the case, but in California it is. Some people cannot afford business licenses and some people need to open up an entire mechanic shops or open up a car dealership just to buy cars from auctions. There are many YouTube channels that have inspired people to buy cars from auctions and fix them. Some examples are Tavarish, Goonzquad, Samcrac, D.I.Y Gang, Tj Hunt and many others. Please help us repeal this law!

Some people say that we cannot let people buy cars fix them up and then resell them because that can be a safety issue. They say people who are inexperienced  will do a bad job at fixing the car. Well the fact is that you will have to go to the DMV and have them inspect your salvaged car before you can register, sell it or do anything with it. That process will help stop cars that are not repaired correctly. Also most people do not have the money to go and fix cars.

Other people say that the cars on auction are a total loss and cannot be safe to drive anymore. The fact is that the majority of the cars can be easily repaired. I encourage you to go visit the website Copart, it is the biggest car auction website there is. Most of the cars you will see are in good conditions or can be easily repaired. The isurance companies declare some cars a loss for their benefit, even though the car is still operational.

Please visit this website in order to see the license requirements you need in order to buy cars from auction in California.
