Animals in this zoo are starving to death because the mayor of Lima city is not allocating funds for their food. Some of the animals were sacrificed to feed other animals. This is unacceptable and cruel. We are asking Luis Castañeda Lossio, Mayor of Lima, to allocate the necessary funds to keep the animals fed and healthy or to relocate animals to sanctuaries to protect them from starvation.
