Since we launched the petition, we engaged in another round of communication with Max Mara. Once again, they instructed us not to publicize their message, but you can find our response here. They continue to deny any wrongdoing, and refuse to explore the possibility of any misuse of the Oma's traditional designs. 

We need just 1,500 more signatures to show Max Mara Chairman Luigi Maramotti that the public will not allow this to be swept under the rug. You've signed the petition already — now encourage your friends and families to do the same. Please help us spread the word that Max Mara is willfully taking advantage of ethnic artisans who do not have the resources to protect their cultural property.
