Yes, I know all of you skaters are super stoked to shred at the new skatepark. I want to thank each and every one that signed and supported this project. We are still optimistic that the City of Lufkin will reconsider the use of modulated or prefabricated ramps. Concrete is proven to be the preferred method among skaters and most durable longterm. The City Council unanimously voted to provide this amazing gift in the centrally located and beautiful Kiwanis park to our community and kids. Thats truly amazing! I will continue to post updates on the progress of the park as it begins construction, as well as, when it nears completion.
