The Point-to-Point Bus Service (P2P)

In a bid to raise standards for public transportation, the DOTC created the P2P bus service: a safe and reliable mode of transport whereby buses follow a fixed schedule, terminal, and drop-off point. As of May 2016, the routes offered are:

  1. Trinoma (North EDSA) to Glorietta 5 (Makati)
  2. Robinson’s Galleria (Ortigas) to Park Square Makati (Makati)
  3. Alabang Town Center (Alabang) to Greenbelt 1 (Makati)
  4. SM North EDSA (North EDSA) to SM Megamall (Ortigas)

The P2P buses have been positively received, with ridership increasing everyday. They're equipped with free Wi-Fi and CCTV cameras, compliant with Euro IV emission standards or better, and are PWD-friendly. (Did you know? P2P bus drivers are paid a fixed salary and benefits.) Nice work, DOTC!

Many of us Southern Manila residents work in BGC. Taking our own vehicles to work costs up to a whopping Php 600/day, considering gas, toll, and parking fees. Riding a P2P bus can cut this down to Php 100/day. We, the riding public of Southern Manila, would like the option to shift from private transportation to public. We call on DOTC and LTFRB to launch a P2P route from Alabang to BGC and vice versa.

Sign this Petition, Everybody Wins

Whether or not you ride, the P2P bus service benefits us all. It eases traffic congestion, reduces pollution, and saves us a huge amount of time and money. (Did you know? The Philippines loses P2.4 billion a day due to traffic.)

Public transportation connects employees to employers, students to schools, shoppers to local stores, and families to communities. The P2P bus service helps drive growth by keeping this country moving. Sign this petition to show your support!
