And people all over the Indian subcontinent watch matches by staying up till late night. With EPL, La Liga and UCL being very popular they have a very big viewership. Now it's announced by Sony Pictures Sports Network that they won't be broadcasting the Spanish League (La Liga) on TV in India anymore. And thus Spanish League fans won't be able to watch the matches of their favourite teams anymore.

And if Facebook in case broadcasts, not everyone has access to high speed data connection to stream matches and then not many would watch it. Also the streams are somewhat behind and takes away the suspense. Plus watching on a small screen is tiring to the eyes as well. You cannot take away the television broadcast as Indians are primarily dependent on TV much more than streaming on web.
