Today is the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. That means it is election day! I know today is an off year election and that means it's more local elections than anything else. I know New York City and Detroit has their mayoral elections today. This might have to be considered when the voting age is lowered as that schools should inform students what could be voted on in an off year election. The city hall should inform the school district of what would be voted on in the off year election (best if any year in general). Might be a good idea to get some other cities just in case for the students who attend that district through school of choice and might not live in the city itself, as one city's election may not allow residents of another to vote in their election.
