Attention all Americans, help protect seniors from greedy predators exploiting our senior population

I am proposing that our government implement a permanent nationwide rent stabilization policy program for seniors residing in mobile home parks living on a fixed income.

For several years seniors have fallen prey to corporations, private equity firms, and investors. They have the monopoly on mobile home park ownership throughout our country. Their greedy rent increases that price seniors out of their retirement homes because their fixed income and cost of living increase is always substantially less than their landlords annual rent increase/s. This business practice not only is a direct cause in their health declining due to the stress and anxiety, but it affects their inability to pay for food, utilities, and medications eventually increasing the number of senior homeless population. 

If we can implement into law for all states permanent rent stabilization policies that will limit landlords annual rent increases not to exceed more than 50% of the annual cost of living increase, then seniors will be able to afford to remain in their retirement homes in their mobile home parks with peace of mind that they are financially stable and can afford their groceries, utilities, medications, and their lot rent resulting in a reduction in senior homelessness and improved health outcomes.

If things stay the same as they are mental and physical health conditions and diseases will increase causing an even greater strain on local, state, and federal agencies budgets to pay for their medical care and housing needs.

This issue is a crisis! It's time to end the greed and predatory business practices that use seniors as their prey. We must act now. We must put an end to the exploitation of our American seniors. We need to protect them from starvation, mental and physical health decline, and homelessness.
