South Africans are working harder than ever — but with the rising cost of living, high fuel prices, and increasing electricity and food costs, our paychecks simply don’t stretch far enough. Despite contributing faithfully to the economy, ordinary citizens are left with less disposable income each month while inflation continues to climb.

We believe it’s time for fair relief. Lowering personal income tax rates will:

Put more money back into the hands of hardworking South Africans.

Stimulate local spending and support small businesses.

Improve quality of life for middle- and lower-income earners.

Boost morale and rebuild trust between citizens and government.

We call on the National Treasury and South African Revenue Service (SARS) to review and reduce current income tax brackets to reflect our current economic realities. South Africans deserve a fair chance to build financial stability, provide for their families, and plan for their future.
