TLDR at the bottom... but please read it � 

2020 has been, for a lack of a better term, shit. We've had the double edged sword of Covid lockdowns... which had good intentions to keep people safe, but consequences that have harmed many through losing a job, getting behind on bills, and some can't afford to pay their mortgage or rent. We have been hit with the same issues. We feel your pain and struggles. Because we've been affected like so many others in Louisiana, we've scaled back on our outreach due to costs. As most of you are aware, we cover the cost of that outreach 100% out of our own pockets. Before you get the idea that this is some type of fundraising request... rest assured, we aren't politicians so there won't be any of that crap. What we need is for the over 500 people who've  signed our petition... to share the link on your social media platforms of choice. That's all we're asking. If only one person signs because of your share, we double the signatures. While we aren't on a fundraising kick, we are asking something of you all. We're asking to take 2 minutes out of your schedules to help us out. That's the good news. The not so great news is that if we can't gain signatures, we shut down the petition. We dread that outcome, but we may not have a choice if only 500 people feel that our petition is worth signing.
