This is a longer update. 

We have almost reached our second goal of 500 signatures, so give yourselves a round of applause. 

This is a big milestone and will only continue to grow as you continue to share the petition across social media. We can make this petition happen. 

So what have we been doing in the background? We have wrote a letter to the Governor that includes our petition, we have reached out to both Democrat and Republican members of the Louisiana legislature and will continue to do so, and we have invested in some advertisements to help more people around the state see our petition. 

So. What's next? Our immediate plans will be reaching out to Louisiana news outlets and we are in discussions with advertising companies(video and physical media) to continue allowing more Louisiana residents the ability to see and sign our petition. We are starting our website and it should be available in the sometime in the first quarter of 2021. Our website will have a feature that allows Louisiana residents to locate a Doctor near them that participates in the medical cannabis program as well as the ability to locate the closest pharmacy. We will have a "Cannabis Education" section where you will be able to go find answers to important questions. 

We realize that those who sign our petition have high expectations from us. That's why we've set the bar really high as well as the expectations we've set for ourselves. As most of you know, we are a group of 8 people. That number will grow once we start getting the goals we have set, into place. Yes, that means we'll be looking for people to join us. We will let you all know when we start looking and what we're looking for when the time comes.
