The Louisiana Culture Recreation & Tourism Foundation - created with the help of Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, is trying to gain approval for a  Hotel/Meeting Center WITHIN the borders of Fountainebleau State Park in Mandeville.

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser has described his chosen location for the project as “unused property at this point that’s woods that is not being utilized for anything.”  Which - as most people know is the REASON for the Park.

The residents of St. Tammany parish and people who love Fountainbleau State Park are not willing to give even an inch of this park to companies/organizations to grant leases, subleases and concession leases, enter into naming rights, as well as enter into contracts of agreements on any portion of immovable property under The Louisiana Culture Recreation & Tourism Foundation's supervision.
