  The City of Shreveport needs to be committed to developing adequate plans for the growth and development of the City to better serve, protect, and promote the health and welfare of its citizens. The city must consider the INFRASTRUCTURE cost and ongoing maintenance of annexing additional areas increasing the FUTURE cost of streets, water and sewer systems, City services including trash and recycling pick up, etc...

  You all are killing our countryside & rapidly murdering your own constituents city. The people are WATCHING & WILL - NOT - FORGET your negligence!

  Furthermore, the city MUST recognize adjacent areas rumored to take future & legal action to DE-annex properties of current annexation request. It is a FACT that Shreveport has the second most declining small city population in the nation. Land mass is NOT the answer!
