Lots of Love: Say YES for gay adoption
There are 500,000 children in the U.S. Foster Care System who waits to get adopted; 10% of those children have been waiting to be adopted for over 5 years. And this is where gay adoption comes in.
Out of 50 states, only only 18 states allow gay couples to adopt. Utah, Mississippi, Kentucky, Nebraska, Ohio, and Winsconsin are not permitting gay couple to be able to adopt a baby to love. The remaining twenty-six states are dancing between the lines of yes and no. They are depending on the states that do approve but also to the states the do not.
The purpose of this petition is for every single state to allow gay couples to adopt a child. We have a huge demand on adoption in America and it keeps increasing every year. We need more parents to help shelter the kids who needs them and there are a lot of gay parents who are more than willing to do so. People's sexuality should not hinder them from adopting a baby to call their own. We are here to fight for equality.
Also, this petition has nothing to do about religion and what is in the bible, this is about equality. America is the land of the free, then why are we questioning people's sexuality when it comes to adopting a baby?
