The air in the Sacramento and Elk Grove region is becoming hazardous to many people exposed to it. Being in a small classroom/room where smoke enters constantly from the doors being opened affects all students and staff. Many students have to be outdoors during certain hours of the day for lunch. The air quality has not gotten any better and it will continue to become more hazardous to all. If students and staff can remain at home they wouldn’t be exposed to the very unhealthy air. To the people in charge of allowing students and staff to continue going to school, please think about the safety and health of the staff and the young students. It would be better to take action now then when it’s too late. The people’s health is more important than an education. So everyone please take a stand and stand up for the health of yourself and others.
