I am emailing because KIPP Pueblo Unido Charter is planning to co-locate on the Teresa Hughes Elementary school campus next school year. We have collected over 1,500 signatures from our community opposing this co-location.
I am deeply concerned about the pandemic we are facing. With schools closed now, there is not enough time for any school to prepare for the health and safety concerns that a new co-location would bring. The safety and health of students and staff would be compromised if KIPP comes to our school. Please revoke the application to co-locate on the Teresa Hughes Elementary school campus.
