The LA County Superior Court dismissed the charges against the social workers who were supposed to defend Gabriel Fernandez. This innocent little boy was murdered at the hands of his own parents and social workers saw how much he was hurting and should’ve have investigated more. They could’ve done so much more to help Gabriel and to take him out of the home that he was being brutally attacked in. They need to be charged for their actions. They cannot just let this go. It was absolutely heartbreaking having to hear about this on social media. The social workers could’ve done so much more to protect him, to make sure he was okay, his siblings had to see him get hurt and abused. The adults should’ve known. They should’ve tried to protect Gabriel. If you think about it, they are just as guilty as the parents are, if the social workers had stepped up more and actually did their jobs, Gabriel could’ve possibly still been alive and in a better home. The system failed this poor little boy. Now, they leave it up to us to make things right. So, we have to. I do not want to see or hear about another child having to lose their lives because of the system and because the system doesn’t take care of these innocent children.
