Hello everyone,

It's been a while.  We predicted that this petition would fall on deaf ears with the Board of Supervisors.  Though we tried to reach out to all five of them, we received no response.

That's why we always knew this petition would only be a first step to mobilizing the residents of LA to elect county supervisors which treated us like human beings.

Fortunately, other people are stepping up.  The folks from LA Uprising reached out to us, and will be helping out or taking over much of this petition.  They've been very active in getting the schools to open up and stop vaccine and mask requirements on kids.

Also another reminder to engage your supervisors and let them know you care about this issue!  This WILL be an election issue, and you WILL engage your neighbors on it.  

Keep in mind each of these Supervisors represents their own supervisorial district.  Click here to find out who represents you.

Kathryn Barger (5th district) - probably our friendliest voice on this issue.  She can give us some answers.

Janice Hahn (4th district) - could also be friendly on this issue.

Holly Mitchell (2nd district) - not as friendly - also uses "health racism" language - but she is serving a reduced term.  She also serves some of the neighborhoods hardest hit by transient camps.  Pointing out the health hazard hypocrisy might hit her hard.

Hilda Solis (1st district) - unknown.  She may be facing a recall.

Sheila Kuehl (3rd district) - not friendly - she was caught flouting her own mandates. We believe she's facing retirement.
