We just got an offer from change.org staff that if we break 1550 signatures we will be eligible to be featured on their site!  This means we gotta get this petition more exposure.  Tell your friends and contacts about this.  Post it on Facebook, Nextdoor, Twitter, and any other social media where you're active.  Groups are great for this.  Engage people.  Learn how to deal with pushback.  Some counters:

• Online petitions don't do anything - this is just a starting step.  We will use this to engage the Board of Supervisors and rally people for their next election.  Check our earlier update for further steps you can take now to engage them.  
• You can't recall her - Ferrer is an employee of the Board of Supervisors.  They are elected.  While we're not in a position to recall them, a couple of them have upcoming re-election campaigns.
• What did she do wrong?  - the details are in the petition.  We don't just believe the mask mandate is wrong.  We believe it's a political move by a political health director.  We need a health director based on science, not politics.
