Stephen Colbert is a comedy icon, and his acerbic wit and charm would be a perfect fit for the SNL stage. Currently on a television hiatus as he waits for his hosting gig at the Late Show to start, now is the perfect time to get this Groundlings-trained comedian on the show. In an interview with Seth Myers in 2011, Stephen expressed interest in hosting but said "I haven't been asked to host." With enough signatures, Lorne Michaels may realize that the perfect host is ready at hand in Stephen Colbert.
