On July 4, 2018 my life completely changed.  My father Tim Moore, his friend Penny Nickeson, and my 10 year old son were in a tragic boat accident.  We lost my father and his friend Penny that night.  They were out watching the fireworks from his boat that evening.  After the fireworks that call came in that there was an accident that they had hit the breakwall.  No call a parent, child, or family member ever wants to receive.  My father was pronounced at the scene, Penny was pronounced at the hospital, any my son was treated for minor injuries.  

This has affected two families along with many friends.  There are so many whats, whys, hows, as well as many other thoughts as to the accident.  We will never know exactly what happened.  What we do know is there are others who have been injured because of this breakwall.  It needs to be lit up better for others to see, maybe someone who is not familiar with the lake, someone who does not have the riches to buy top notch equipment to tell them there is a wall there.  

We have been given the run around and no one taking accountability.  This is not about placing blame on someone or something.  This is about protecting the next person/persons who may get hurt, protecting the next family/families from going through this tragedy, and lighting up the way everyone.  Can you imagine if it were your father/mother, son/daughter, brother/sister or someone close to you?  Would you just sit back and do nothing?
