Summary: this is a petition to change a BC provincial regulation and turn our breaks in-between classes from 5-6 minutes, back to what they were(10-12 minutes) or atleast 10 minutes.

The schools in my district have 5-6 minute breaks. Me and other students have found that this is not enough time to do basic things in-between classes like go to the bathroom or to your locker, unless you get lucky with uncrowded hallways. Furthermore this break time has caused more rush in the hallways which can injure students as kids try to get to their class on time, made kid(s) feel like the schools don't want us to socialize, and overall caused more stress to many students. A friend of mine at another school has also expressed that he would like longer breaks, and feels many kids at his school would also support it. So this is a petition to make breaks longer, however due to it being a province regulation that stops us, this would likely affect schools province wide.
