I would like to bring to your attention that I have read some comments on the Facebook page Lost Non-League Grounds in response to its post about the Hare and Hounds football ground.
Some of the comments were from people who used to play local football at the former Leyton FC ground, expressing their shock at the poor state the ground is now in.
If you have a point of view that you would like to raise beyond the Facebook page, particularly regarding the current condition of the Hare and Hounds site and your wish for it to be preserved as a football ground, may I kindly ask that you share your views with the three Waltham Forest councillors for the Lea Bridge ward? They are already aware of this online petition and campaign.
It is important that the three local councillors hear the views of people who care about the future of the Hare and Hounds football ground and would like to see the site used once again as a football ground for the benefit of the local community.
You can contact the three Lea Bridge ward councillors by visiting the Waltham Forest Council website and emailing them directly. You can find their contact details by searching on Google.
