Please read this important update.

I would like to inform you that I have read these comments on the petition and I would like to kindly share them with you.

The first person said, "It would be such a shame for this piece of community land that worked for the community to continue as a car park. It's a shocking use of land when Lea Bridge Road is so well connected with buses and trains".

The second person said, "It is a disgrace how they have allowed the Hare and Hounds to decay in the way that it has".

And the third person said, "I'm a local person keen to reinstate the ground for local use. I live next door to it".

If you are a local person and live in the Lea Bridge area of Waltham Forest and you want to see local non-league football, return to the Hare and Hounds ground, then may I kindly suggest that you contact Jennifer Whilby, who is your local Waltham Forest councillor for Lea Bridge Ward, by sending an email to this address:

It is very important that Councillor Whilby, who supports the campaign, gets to hear your point of view that you want the Hare and Hounds site to remain as a local football ground, and if you have any comments that you would like to add to the petition, then please feel free to do so, and I will try and share your comments with Councillor Whilby.
