Hi to all,

I just want to thank the 2,105 people who have so far signed Save the Hare and Hounds football ground petition. Also, I would like to remind you that the target for the petition is to reach the 2,500 mark.

I have received information from Waltham Forest council saying that if the petition receives 4,000 signatures, then it could strike a debate in a council meeting.

At this present time, It is impossible to reach the 4,000 signature target mark set by the council. But if the petition receives 2,105 signatures, which is less than 4,000 signatures, then the petition will be sent to one of the council officers.

After mentioning that to you Waltham Forest council is already aware of the campaign and petition to save the former Leyton FC (Hare and Hounds) football ground, because it has been mentioned in a report back in July 2021. 

So for now the target for the petition is to reach towards the 2,500 mark and hopefully go beyond it.
