Unecessary box junction in East Ham

As a motorist I understand the frustration felt when you open the post to receive an unexpected Penalty Charge Notice. Many of you may have been a victim to the notorious yellow box situated just before the entrance of St Bathmolomews Road, East Ham E6 off Barking Road heading towards Upton Park. There is also another box junction less than 100m away heading down Ron Leighton Way. There is no need for the yellow box to be located at that spot as the street on the left is only a one way street.

Many montorist are caught at this yellow box, even by the slightest bit while having the intention to turn right at the traffic light less then a few metres away. I have recently been a victim of this along with many other friends, family and colleagues. I am asking you to sign this petition to send to the Council to stop them from this sneaky money making trap and be a voice for the local community and all motorists.

The solution to this problem is a simple Keep Clear Marking instead of a yellow box.
