Due to cuts London Borough of Lewisham has ear-marked Brandram Road Centre for closure in April 2016.

Local people run the centre on a voluntary basis.  We are almost self-financing; our hire fees cover our utilities, insurance, and almost all repairs and maintenance and a paid administrator post to run the centre. We cost Lewisham Council very little.

The centre serves a diverse local community.  The activities at the centre are wide ranging.  We have been an important and valued community resource for 30 years. The centre is busy EVERYDAY.

We see no sense in the closure of our busy and well cared for centre which serves the local community very well and costs Lewisham very little money each year!
