Diane Parish started this petition to London Borough of Enfield

Enfield Council are about to let a telecoms company build on and erect a mast in Queen Anne’s Gardens, Bush Hill Park.

We are running out of green space in our London Boroughs but Enfield and Bush Hill Park have been able to pride themselves on preserving and caring about our park lands and green spaces and spots. It’s what attracts new residents and helps to keep our air clean and our wildlife intact.

Allowing a telecoms company and Enfield Council to destroy yet another piece of green space is just wrong. Not only the loss of green space but a possible mast in extremely close vicinity to nurseries and primary schools is a question of concern for the health of our residents old and young.

I personally remember my children trudging through falling leaves in the autumn on their way to nursery, collecting leaves. It is a small spot but one of value and character to the area.

Please please sign our petition today and share. Write to our local council planning.decisions@enfield.gov.uk

We have enjoyed some of the best weather and cleanest air in a long time recently as a result of the biggest health crisis in our lifetimes. Why would we go backwards after all this and allow more pollution and destruction of our natural green spaces.

Thank you in advance for your support
