Give Permission to allow to keep our to loving pets, A small tea cup Chihuahua whom we have had for 3 years and a small nervous Staff who we have had for over 6 years.
The Issue
Croydon Council have refuse permission for us to keep our two loving pets it was not aware to us that we should have had got permission to have dogs before we got them 6 years ago although we have always been in the same property with them since they were pups. We wrote and ask the council for permission to have the dogs and explained we did not know about the permission they wrote back and said for us to have the two mircochipped , we did this and sent them the infromation of the chipped numbers and we also got over 50 people in our street and surrounding areas to say the dogs caused no trouble and would not see any reason we could not be allowed to keep them. We then got a letter back saying they would not give permission to keep the dogs and they have to be rehome by Christmas Eve 2014, the reason being we broke the rules.
We were in complete shock , and ask MPS for help but like banging our heads against a wall no one wanted to know, we then ask Croydon Adiverster to print our story and to our Joy they said yes and took photos of our children to whom the pets belong to, Crystal who 11 years old had the little Chihuahua when she had a nasty accident one Christmas coming off a new bike and hitting her head on the pavement which caused a large blood clot but the 10 hour operation which save her life and friends, family collected over £600.00 to buy Bella who now is 3 years old, Misty is our sons Pet, to who he had since a pup and now the staff is 6 years old , as was going well, until the paper contacted the Croydon Council press office and was told that the reasons the pets could not be kept as we broke the rules and they had received complaints about the dogs saying the dogs run loose and foul the payment and never on leads this was never given to us as a reason and all our neighbours know nothing about this......The dogs would never be able to run loose in our area which there is a main road 20 yds from our front door they would get run over in no time....SO the story never got printed and the croydon council give us a extended time to rehome the dogs by 7th January, 2015..
We cannot bear for our loving pets to be taken from us , the two dogs have always been together , Misty thinks the little Chihuahua is her baby and sure this would bring suffering to parted them, our children really considering moving from our home with their pets and we feel this is breaking up a family who should not be put through this, these dogs have done no wrong and if we let them run loose etc, be sure someone would have took the Chihuahua, and why are fighting to SAVE OUR DOGS and in fear of lossing our home if we keep them....
PLEASE HELP US.....SAVE THEM FROM GOING THROUGH SUCH SUFFERING , sign this Petition or send your complaints about the Croydon Council not giving permission to keep these loving Pets ....
