India bans imports of plastic waste

China banned waste imports last year and now India, here is another reason the UK must ban single plastic!

I guess the government are busy with bigger issues currently... but this one is just as important. 

In the mean time... you can do what you can to reduce your personal or family usage of single use plastic and encouraging others to avoid it too.
