Thank you to everyone who has signed  this petition. I started it a couple of years ago when I felt the plastic issue was not really being addressed.  So really happy there is a lot of awareness now and consumers are beginning to think and action is being taken globally - this is so incredible!  

Single use plastic and plastic pollution has really hit the headlines, and every little bit helps so please share this petition and we’ll put more pressure on local MPs and Michael Gove Environmental Affairs Secretary. 

Last year the word ‘Single-Use’ was voted - Word of the year!! (Collins) 

M&S have announced they are trialing selling loose fruit & veges - moving away from plastic.  Let’s hope they roll this out in all of their stores !
