We are approaching 2021! It is long overdue that Sanitary Products for women should cost nothing. Yes no fee. It is the woman who gives life to everyone. Not only are we stigmatized during this time of emotional imbalance during periods but then we are expected to pay the cost each month!

According to the website Jezebel women spend about $120 per year on tampons and pads. This does not include period craving food, heating pads, pain medications, OR dry cleaning fees for leaks and stains.

I think that there are so many female led and conscious Menstral organizations that could support free pads in the state of Maryland. I would prefer to put that $120 into bills, stocks to invest in my future, or even to donate to help other women internationally that need pads and education in more patriarchal societies. 

So today I am calling out A Woman's Worth Inc., Freedom4Girls, and our Maryland Senators to make our Hygiene a priority. 

Free women! Make sanitary products free in the State of Maryland... and then hopefully we can spread across the nation.
