We, the undersigned, are concerned parents/ caregivers & residents who urge the Logan City Council to act now to upgrade the kiss & ride carpark area as planned and promised back in 2016, thus allowing for a free flow of traffic. This will stop the backlog of buses, trucks, taxis & cars on Emerald Drive at school times A.M & P.M, who wait behind vehicles waiting to turn into the kiss & ride carpark. Vehicles cross over illegally into oncoming traffic in frustration to drive ahead endangering crossing users. There are road rage incidents during these times. Police have observed this dangerous situation, the police have stated this is an extremely dangerous area during school drop off/ pick up times. We need this dangerous situation rectified before there is a serious accident causing injuries or a death.
