Dave Nutting, Mr. Nutting, Coach, however you addressed him, was more than a man. Mr. Nutting was a husband, father, a friend, a coach, and a legend. It is only respectful to dedicate something in his name. During my TA period for PE, Mr. Nutting told me something I feel I need to fulfill, that is, name the court inside Meehleis Gym to his name. Mr. Nutting brought home the basketball championship in years 2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2016. That was something he was very proud of. To remember Coach, I would like 1,500 signatures to fulfill his request. A plaque inside the Gym will be my main goal, but that will come later. Let’s create a lasting memory of Mr. Nutting at Lodi High.
