Currently Locus Gear makes some of the world's best, lightest, and most durable shelters. However there are many, even in the ultralight community, who are generally not satisfied with the long-term reliability and durability of YKK #3 zippers. This petition has been created to specifically address this issue and we hope that in the future Locus Gear will consider offering either one-way or two-way (for venting) YKK #5 style zippers on its shelters as an option or however they see fit.
