On Saturday 5th November 2022 what was supposed to be a nice girlie night out, ended in me spending the evening in A&E with my sister after she had been cruelly spiked.  The quickness these drugs take control of the body is scary & The effects it has are painful, scary, traumatising & life changing. 

If we hadn’t acted quickly my sisters situation could have been drastically different. The continual vommiting, lack of mobility, unconsciousness, plus many more are just a few of the plain stakingly scary side effects my sister had to endure, this put a huge strain on her body & will for the rest of her life leave a mental & psychological scar. 

This has to stop, my sister was lucky that I noticed quickly that she wasn’t right for the amount she drank! The careless & sick act can lead to women & men being in dangerous situation, sometimes fatal. 

In most cases the victim is unaware of what’s happened to them, so these careless & selfish predators get away with it, allowing them to strike again! This is a criminal offence so please report! 

Therefore I am petitioning for a clamp down on this, people should be searched when entering night clubs/ bars as this is becoming rife & the norm. Why should we go out in fear that someone is going to cause harm like this to us?
