Located in Victoria, Middle park, a pier that goes onto Port Phillip bay, is used for multiple water activities including swimming, surfing (kite) and also brings many other locals and tourists for its beautiful water conditions, weather and fishing. All these activities require nice weather conditions, and these weather conditions can be quite unpredictable. Not being able to predict some of the conditions that Port Phillip bay may bring can affect many peoples days, such as waves. Waves are be a large impact on peoples days for water activities like swimming and paddle-boarding. And it may also attract surfers, from my own experience and some locals may also relate too, I like to surf off the pier when there is waves but it is very unpredictable, so I have to go have a look to see if there are any waves which consumes a lot of time (especially when there isn't any waves!) . Implementing a observational camera system allows everyone to access live footage of the conditions on the pier and also saves a lot of time! This Makes it easier for everyone and also means they can have great time. These cameras are currently in use along Victoria's coastlines which are quite successful in providing visitors footage of the conditions regarding to weather and water conditions live!
