Northport Mayor, Damon McMullen has postponed the annual Farmer’s Market for 2020 due to the impact on local merchants and COVID-19.  Since he is not recognizing this online petition, PLEASE email him at d.mcmullen@northportny.gov AND include your address!!!  Access to local fresh produce and supporting local independent businesses and farmers is critical at this time.  The goods sold there do not threaten downtown businesses.  Local merchants have been invited to participate. The Farmer’s Market can provide a safe open air environment for our residents to shop.  If you’d like to get the Northport Farmer’s Market open this summer, please sign this petition AND email the mayor!!!
