Offshore wind energy may have a place in our future energy supply. But if you were asked where in the ocean to place hundreds of wind turbines taller than three football fields, would you put them:

(a) Where according to the foreign construction company’s own plans will  “dominate the view” from every beach and bay stretching from Seaside Park to Cape May  “industrializing” New Jersey’s most precious natural resource ? or

(b) Where their underwater noise would endanger marine life and interfere with  the migration of critically endangered whales?

Well, that’s where two foreign-based corporations are planning to place them , clearly visible from the beaches and bays of Ocean & Atlantic and Cape May Counties, New Jersey, closer than any other modern wind project in the world.

If you answered no to either question, please sign this petition to get the turbines sensibly placed farther out in the already approved “Hudson South” area where there is plenty of wind energy and these problems can be avoided.
