The Cafe Inn, based in Florence Walk, Bishop's Stortford has been around for over 20years. The business has changed hands a few times, but one thing has stayed the same. The family ethos and community the place brings to anyone who visits. This Cafe was taken over just over 2 years ago by a lovely Turkish Family and the cafe has thrived. Reasonably priced, great coffee, amazing food and second to none customer service. As of 2020 Florence Walk changed ownership. This is not the only change, they have redecorated certain shops to spruce up the place and they maintain a clean walk. Unfortunately that is where the good ends I'm sad to say. The rest of the changes are uncomfortable to say the least, however true none the less. They have come in like a wrecking ball, impressing their authority with no due cause. Causing stress, worry, anxiety for their tenants. The cafe in particular. I'm only going to discuss the last straw. Basically as of the 17th of May, the cafe will no longer be allowed by the landlords to have external tables for customers. They have other plans for the space. Now to me, that makes no sense. Outside seating not allowed in a cafe, why? Just to push a family over the edge? After a pandemic! Well I say, "NO". I would like you to join me is fighting for the Cafe Inn to have tables outside.
