CHANGE THE WORLD, PLANT TREES NOW!!!

Trees are essential to life, they are the vital element on this world.  Not only they provide oxygen for us humans but also they serve as the natural habitat of many species on Earth. They also provides structure for our soil to avoid erosion. In that way ,tree helps to maintain the ecological balance in our planet

The canopies of trees act as a physical filter, trapping dust and absorbing pollutants from the air. Each individual tree removes up to 1.7 kilos every year. They also provide shade from solar radiation and reduce noise.

Over 20 species of British trees and shrubs are known to have medicinal properties. The oil from birch bark, for example, has antiseptic properties.Research shows that within minutes of being surrounded by trees and green space, your blood pressure drops, your heart rate slows and your stress levels come down.

Based on the study conducted by Nowak(2018), the Nation's urban/community areas declined by 0.7 percent, which translates to losing an estimated 36 million trees or approximately 175,000 acres of tree cover annually. Pavement and other impervious cover increased at a rate of about 167,000 acres a year during the same period.

In our province Nueva Ecija, the number of trees are also declining due to the huge number of houses, malls, and subdivisions in most areas. Most lands which are covered with trees before were also converted into settlements. Because of this existing problems, we come up in making this petition to address this problem. I encourage everyone to support this petition in order to give a resolution to this continuing problem.
