The issue

For many years Christchurch has invested in Water Infrastructure at the expense of ratepayers in order to meet goal of the Water Exemption requirements of the new Water Regulator. The goal posts have changed again, and it now seems impossible to get an exemption for our City.

I am calling on the Minister of Local Government Kieran McAnulty to intervene and fix this issue. The exemption process should be pragmatic and  achievable. Government need to fix this!

The people of Christchurch deserve chlorine free water!
