Street lights are now shut off between 1 and 4am to save energy. I agree with saving energy but now I keep seeing how it’s encouraging theft. To many people are having homes and cars broken into vandalised and even parts removed between these hours. The hard working tax payers are losing out and nothing is being done to stop these types of crimes. I’m sure they will tell us it’s not risen but we all know it has and I bet we all  someone that has been robbed or burgled in these hours and the thief’s are using this energy saving to their full advantage. Let’s sign this petition and have them switched back on !! Let’s save people’s belongings cars and tools they need to work and stop becoming a target in dark streets.
