On the 8th of November we sadly lossed our cat sam to a brutal death he was knocked over and left for dead for us to then find him left bleeding on the road to then be told by the law theres nothing that can be done about this if the cat had been hit and still alive there was a possibility but not when hes dead our family has been torn apart I want to try and get this law changed cause no matter what the animal,  it's still a life it still has a beating heart and it's still a member of a family my Sam's life has been taking and left a family broken hearted no matter what animal has been hurt or killed there should be a law against it I am hoping by doing this petition that I can make a difference and I want you as a community to please help me
