I am writing this as a troubled older sister for my little brother who has been in care for nearly 6 long years and counting

He clearly does not want to be in care to me but not seeming to be clear enough to be heard via his foster placement+/workers  or maybe they are just not listening nor acting with true kindness and compassion towards disabled parents, and families bear in mind he has tried to run away a couple of times and they blame us as the family :/

It feels like a draining search trying to find help as only the child in care can call certain services and ask for a solicitor or help in care system etc, how does this make sense most child in care have no access to a phone and leaflets + info and emergency phone numbers for such crisis, Nor are children aware of the law and proceedings nor even the need for a lawyer so for this to be a practical solution for getting children heard and returned home if possible is not working !!

plus another silly fact is that parents are not allowed legal aid after a certain time period nor if its to be argued against services views only allowed aid if the services have abused you or your family, i honestly thought emotional torture and damage is enough to get some help ! :/ so as reading this far you can imagine our family has tried to be listened to but failing

That is why i am writing this as my last resort of finding help and just be taken seriously for my Brother and every other child /family that is struggling to get legal aid or support, advice on such delicate matters that should not be dismissed!

misuse of power and authority miscommunication and even silence as the childs views are not taken seriously or atall and placement is based on social services opinions and judgements rather than just listening to the child and the family! what ever happened to the right of a family life or even parental responsibility??

Fallen upon deaf ears long enough praying for His return and healing process rather than suffering in silence  

quick story as an example; my little brothers birthday last year the c.s.c promised him he was allowed over night stay and regrettably to say they didnt let him !!! broke him and his family, even though they sent out a transiton plan for him to return home which they say now is an error..? some error to make just an error decisions of this little boy and his families future just an error?

how is this possible they are supposedly working within the framework of reunification, i am not great with my writing skills but please understand I just want children within the care system to be heard the first time they ask for help or reassessment of living arrangements or want to see their family more :/( etc.
