During this time small, family run businesses are suffering. Small businesses don’t have the income to cover operating costs while their sales are limited due to COVID-19. Employees aren’t getting paid and business owners are suffering. In order for there to still be a business for employees to come back to businesses need some sort of relief. We’re looking for small businesses to be given SBA relief loans to cover their operating expenses so they can make it through this hard time. At this time, Denver County has already approved SBA relief loans, however, Boulder County still has not. If Boulder County were to approve SBA relief loans it would grant many small businesses the ability to make it through this pandemic.
