Cass Elementary is a beloved school in the district and has been for so many years. As many people may not know, Cass is one the elementary schools in Livonia that is being considered for closing in the near future. We need the community to rally around this great school and show the school board that we value it's wonderful teachers, great families and students, as well as the close-knit group that comes from having a smaller school. Closing the school would not only greatly impact the students and families that attend the school but it would also be a detriment to the neighborhood, in terms of property values, and the potential growth of the surrounding areas.
