We, the Liverpool faithful, have watched in frustration as one of the greatest football clubs in the world has been reduced to a shadow of itself under Arne Slot.

In his first season, Slot inherited a world-class squad built by Jürgen Klopp and rode it to a Premier League title. Many of us were patient. Many of us gave him the benefit of the doubt. But what we have witnessed in this second season has been nothing short of an embarrassment.

This is not good enough for Liverpool Football Club.

We have suffered through a catastrophic defence of our Premier League title — one of the worst in the club's modern history. We have watched expensively assembled talent worth hundreds of millions of pounds underperform week after week. We have seen a lack of tactical identity, a lack of urgency, and a lack of the fighting spirit this club was built on.

Mohamed Salah is leaving. Andrew Robertson is leaving. Key players have been injured for extended periods. Yet rather than inspire and elevate those who remain, the performance levels have continued to decline. Fans have been left asking: what exactly is the plan?

FSG has invested massively in this squad. The players are there. The resources are there. What is missing is the right leadership on the touchline.

There are elite managers available this summer who would ignite this club again. The window to act is NOW — before another season is wasted and before the gap between Liverpool and the top grows even wider.

We are not asking for miracles. We are asking for standards. Liverpool Football Club's standards.
